I had old fluorescent bulbs in my shop and they were going out(bad bulbs & bad ballasts). The fixtures were tied together with emt conduit. Since your fixtures don't need ballasts and the led bulbs are so much brighter. I was able to install your bulbs without disturbing the conduit. Saved me labor and I ended up with better product. Will order again.

I ordered 10 8ft led lights. The shipment arrived on time and very well packaged. I was able to bypass the ballast easily and had all 10 lights working in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend this product. Now I just need to see how long they last. The light is cleaner and brighter than my old HO florescent bulbs.

I've purchased these before. They only last about 2 yrs tops but the lighting is far superior to fluorescent lighting. Also noting there is no power savings with the LEDs, if you're replacing 40W fl lamps with 40W LED, 40W is 40W period. I recommend the 120VAC LEDs and get rid of the old fluorescent ballasts - so long as fluorescent lamps are never re-installed (SAFETY!). My fixtures are labeled with warning to not install fluorescent tubes. So when these burn out, usually one half of the tube goes first, so its not like fluorescent which get dimmer, flicker, and darkened tubes, the LEDs just one half of them in the tube fail to turn on. The LEDs appear to provide much greater luminosity compared to fluorescent equivalent, in that respect more light for same wattage is in a sense an improvement on power efficiency. I'll buy them again however, consider converting 8' fixture for use with dual 4' tubes (hard to get 8' LED tubes in local hardware stores, but 4' are plentiful).

I ordered 4 of these as an evaluation of their performance & reliability. They work great, with the exception of one that failed after 10 minutes of operation. That failure consisted of half the LEDs, i.e., all the LEDs on one end of the tube went out.
However, LED My Place promptly shipped a replacement tube after I sent them photos of the failed light, no questions asked. They even sent me the support clips to hold up the center of all of the tubes (which these tubes really need), when prompted. I appreciated that!

I recently ordered 16, 8' LED tubes to replace my old florescent lights in my 30' x 60' 10'H garage, I was worried they might be some damage in shipping. As I normally like to pick them up personally...when they arrived, (very quickly I must add), they were packaged very well and no damage and every one worked! It's nice to not having the old ballast humming noise, and extremely bright light. I would highly recommend this company. Hopefully they last as long as they advertise.

The 8’ led lights are very bright and easy to rewire fixtures for them. Sure wish I’d found these before I took 8 fixtures down inside my shop and replaced them with 4’ , 6 bulb fixtures. Would have saved a lot of time and would have saved a bunch of money.

My garage had 6 pairs of 8 foot fluorescent tubes. I replaced 2 pairs a month or so back as a test. I liked the change! I ordered 4 more pairs and swapped the LEDs in. It took about 90 minutes, including bypassing (and removing) the ballasts. Much better light throughout the work places as the light is directed downward. Great upgrade and the service was good and shipping fast!

I received the 6 x R17 8ft T8/T12 tubes in an excellently packed heavy duty cardboard shipping tube. Upon opening I found the 6 tubes individually packed in their own tube. Each light tube was wrapped in plastic, included an installation guide, and had a scratch protective film installed on the lens. Each arrived in perfect condition. The installation was easy. Removed old fluorescent tubes and the covers off the fixture. Cut ballast hookup wires at as close as possible to the ballast. Remove ballast transformer. Strip Each yello, blue, red, white, and black wire bare to 3/4” length. Hook black, blue, red wires together with wire nut. Hook yellow and white wire together with wire nut. Install some wire routing clips to keep wires from getting pinched on reassembly and to clean up wire inside the fixture. Replace covers, install bulbs, remove scratch protective film, flip the switch...and voila! My 3 stall garage is nearly as bright as outdoors on a sunny day. Really like the new lights and Glad to increase brightness while also saving money on my electric bill. Just wish maybe I had some support clips in the middle of the bulbs. The bulbs fell like good quality and are metal on the back to give enough support for an 8ft span. Will look to do the same in my closet 2ft fixtures next.

My pole barn is lit by six eight foot fluorescent fixtures. One was non-functioning with a failed ballast. When a second one failed I decided to switch to LED, initially for the two non-functioning fixtures to see how they worked. I ordered the tubes and removed the ballasts and converted the wiring. A few days later the tubes arrived and were Installed and working within a half hour. Overall the process was very easy. The light is great, much more focused on the work areas than the original fixtures. I’m excited to order replacements for the remaining fixtures. Overall, a great experience.

These were installed this week in our garage to replace 110w florescent tubes. Though 5800 lumens replaced our 8800 lumens, they seem to be the same brightness with a much whiter light using less than half the power. No more humming!

I only put these in one of 26 fixtures to try them. My fixtures are 14 ' 6" off the floor and wanted to see if the light would go that far. The only problem I had is these LED tubes are 5/16" longer than the HO fluorescent tubes I removed. I had to make adjustments to the fixture and barely got them in. I plan to convert the remainder of one row ( 6 more fixtures ) to be sure they make enough light.

Quick and eazy to install. I only purchased two to try out and agree with the other comment that the socket orintation is wrong for my fixtures. The bulbs are at a 90 degree angle to the floor. When they fix this problem then I will buy more.

Rahul was very responsive and helpful in answering some installation questions that I had. It initially looked like I was going to have socket orientation issues (the ends are not rotatable on the R17 tubes) and he immediately offered to issue a return shipping label and refund. That turned out to only be a problem on one fixture and I was able to rotate the sockets. I've completed installing 18 tubes and the result is better than I expected. I was reading 45 fc directly under a fixture with (2) F96T12-CW-HO-WM-ECO tubes and 90 fc under the fixture with (2) 48W R17 5800L/ 6500K LED tubes. This is a 277V ballast bypass installation and these tubes are actually rated for that voltage (most on eBay are 265V). I also found LEDMyPlace to have the lowest pricing for what appears to be a very high quality product.
